Everyone says that the coastal stretch from Legio to Gaida is the most beautiful place in Italy
especially the hillside near Salerno,
which the local people call "Amalfi" That piece of hillside.
The place is backed by mountains and faces the sea.
There are many small towns, many gardens, and many fountains built there.
The people who live there are all businessmen who do big business and make a lot of money.
Right there, there was a small town called "Ravello".
There were many rich people living there at that time (still the same today).
One of them was Landolfo Ruffolo,who had tens of thousands of belongings,
but Not satisfied yet,
he wanted to get richer even after being rich.
As a result, he almost went bankrupt and even lost his own life.

he decided to sail and do business.
He bought a big ship,
exchanged his lot of money for a ship of goods,
and set sail for the island of Cyprus;

其中有一位名叫蘭多?！敻Ｂ?，有著上萬家私，
卻還不滿足，
富了還想更富，
結果險些弄得傾家蕩產，連自己的生命都不保。
凡是經商的人都會打算，
他經過一番考慮之后，
決計航海經商；
就買了一艘大船，
把許多錢都去換了一船貨，
啟程向塞浦路斯島駛去；
卻運氣不好，
到那里才知道早有別人把同樣的貨物滿船地運來了。
他不得不忍痛跌價，
簡直是把貨物白送給人。
這一來使他幾乎到了破產的地步。
