“ALEXANDRITE -Cold Rouge-” is the 3rd remix album of Chouchou that shows the opposite world to that of its origin “ALEXANDRITE”, the 4th main album released at the same time. In contrast to “ALEXANDRITE” sparkling in the sunlight, “ALEXANDRITE -Cold Rouge-” is wetly glistening at night in the incandescent light like “cold rouge”. When the Lyrics and melodies reflect the different type of light, they show the other side of the face with full of sorrow and emotion to create seductive and modern sounds. Although “ALEXANDRITE” leaned toward to pop music, they completely shifted their music to the deeper side of electronic and ambient music for this remix album. You will be swayed by a surprisingly wide range of different music styles of Chouchou through this challenging album.

Chouchouにとって3作目となるリミックスアルバム「ALEXANDRITE -Cold Rouge-」はその誕生の元となる同時リリースのメインアルバム「ALEXANDRITE」の対になる世界を表現した作品。太陽の光を浴びて光り輝く「ALEXANDRITE」とは対照的に、夜の人工的な光に照らされて濡れたような艶めきを放つ「コールドルージュ」のように、異なる光を纏った言葉やメロディは悲哀と情感に満ちた別の顔を見せ、時に妖しく、そしてモダンに響かせる?！窤LEXANDRITE」ではポップ路線としてきたその音楽性は、この作品ではエレクトロニカやアンビエントといったディープな方向に完全にシフト。Chouchouならではの驚異的な振り幅を感じることが出來る渾身のリミックスアルバム。
