At just 17 years of age, Joe Robinson has secured a reputation as one of the world’s finest young guitarists.
You may remember Smokin’ Joe Robinson – winner of ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ 2008.
His unique acoustic guitar style and sheer virtuosity has caught the attention of Les Paul, Steve Vai, Brad Paisley, Tommy Emmanuel and many others. From winning the hit television series ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ to recording in Nashville with CMA “Producer of the year”, Frank Rogers - few doubt that this humble young man is destined for greatness.
After spending 8 weeks in the USA working with Tommy Emmanuel, Pat Bergesson (Chet Atkins guitarist) Brad Paisley, playing in Nashville and then to New York to play with Les Paul and Frank Vignola, legendary gypsy jazz player, Joe entered the European touring circuit, totally blitzing them in Finland, Germany, The Netherlands and the UK. performing to packed out houses every night.
