It was released on September 2 in the United Kingdom, and is set to be released on September 20 in the United States.[1][2][3] "Bass Down Low" was released as the album's lead single on December 6, 2010. It features vocals from The Cataracs. "In the Dark" is the second single from the album. It was released on April 26, 2011 in the US and August 5, 2011 in the UK.Background



On May 26 2011, Dev said in an interview with Homorazzi that producer Timbaland will be producing songs for her in the album.[4] And, she also stated that she might appear in the debut single off his Shock Value III album,[5] which was later confirmed to be false.[6] During the same interview, she mentioned that the album will have several different bass and genres, including ballads, hip-hop and dance.[7]



On July 27, 2011, Dev revealed the cover for the album, and the tracklist via a Facebook "note".[8] And, using the same method, she also revealed that she has filmed a video for the song, "Take Her From You" on 28 July 2011. She also stated that there will be a "bomb car", "liquor store" and a "dead body" in the video.[9]
